There are both Android and IOS apps available for this Recorder. The IOS APP is IVMS-4500

What's the maximum HDD capacity it supports? Can I use WD Purple 12TB for this NVR?

The Hikvision DS-7616NI-Q2/16P 16-Channel 4K UHD NVR (No HDD) has 2 HDD slots up to 8tb each. So, you can use two 8TB WD Purple drives for a total of 16TB.

What is the difference between this NVR and the Hikvision DS-7616NI-I2/16P?

The difference is the maximum recording resolution the 4k model can record up to 8MP the other can record up to 12MP.
