ScreenBeam SBWD1 Overview
Designed for enterprise and higher ED settings, the ScreenBeam 1100 Plus 4K Wireless Display Receiver with HDMI is a cross-platform collaboration solution that allows presenters and educators to wirelessly share and markup/annotate content on the in-room display directly from their laptop, smartphone, tablet, or room computer. Users can wirelessly present from any Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, or Chromebook device without having to install and maintain an application, or use a dongle or cable, creating a natural workflow with crystal-clear 4K image resolution for interactive meetings that are more productive.
The 1100 Plus offers company and guest devices multiple ways to connect including Miracast, local Wi-Fi mode, and network infrastructure connectivity—providing more flexibility, reducing complexity, and lowering cost for a variety of network policies and deployment needs. An HDMI input is available for wired connectivity to older devices without wireless capability.
Integrated HTML-based digital signage enables you to stream customized content in your meeting room or lobby when the displays are not in use. The Central Management System (CMS) Enterprise software is included to monitor, manage, and deploy multiple ScreenBeam receivers using a standard web browser.
Single Device for Both Wireless and HDMI Wired Connections
The 1100 Plus combines wireless-display and HDMI switching into a single device. The HDMI I/O eliminates the need for an HDMI switch, making rooms fully functional for wired and wireless connections.
Multi-Network Support for Guest Users and Company Users
No need to choose an internal or external network connection for your wireless display. The 1100 Plus can connect to both guest users and company users simultaneously without compromising the security of your internal network.
Ghost Inking with Zero Latency
ScreenBeam Ghost Inking allows you to wirelessly markup and annotate content on a wirelessly connected interactive in-room display using any Microsoft Office 365 app running on a Windows computer (Windows Edge, PowerPoint, OneNote, SketchPad, and more). You can then store and share your updated content with everyone in the room instantly. Ghost Inking technology removes any wireless inking latency for a more intuitive and natural pen-to-paper experience.
Digital Signage for Employee and Guest Communications
Digital signage support allows the 1100 Plus to stream signage content when the display is not being utilized. Signage can display in either Fullscreen or Framed mode and will start streaming per the idle time set by the administrator. Supported content formats include: HTML5, WebGL, Video Webm, Video H264, and Video MP4.
Multi-View Allows Four Devices to Share Content on Screen
Whether in-room or off-premise, as many as four participants can share content simultaneously during a meeting, making it easier for real-time editing of materials.
Quickly Switch between Presenters without Disconnecting
With Quick Switch Mode, presenters do not need to disconnect to allow the next presenter to assume control, eliminating time-wasting delays and keeping meetings on track.
Three Levels of Security for the Active Connection
- Connection level security support for most enterprise network certificate-based security requirements.
- Session level security with AES128 encryption to ensure that content is not compromised.
- Customizable PIN pairing options providing IT/AV departments control over the user connection models, so only authorized users are able to connect to the receiver.
Multi-User and Role-Based Central Management
Every ScreenBeam 1100 Plus includes the Central Management System (CMS) Enterprise software to monitor and manage ScreenBeam receivers using a standard web browser. The software also supports multi-user and role-based access for large deployments with multiple sites and administrators.
