The XR-4 Secure Edition is the world’s most advanced mixed reality headset for simulation, allowing real-world and virtual elements to be blended together seamlessly for highly effective and cost-efficient training scenarios. Assembled in state-of-the-art facilities in Finland, it is both certified and optimized for secure environments.
Pilot-grade visual fidelity
Experience a no-compromise approach to immersion for training and simulation. Crystal-clear 4K per eye mini-LED displays deliver the accuracy and visual fidelity required for true one-to-one recreations of training environments.
A new ultra-wide 120° x 105° field of view delivers full binocular range vision, and 200 nits of brightness and 1:10000 contrast ratio achieved with local dimming serves both day and night training scenarios.
Industry-leading passthrough clarity.
Varjo’s signature XR cameras facilitate mixed reality simulation setups where real-world elements such as cockpits, maps or tools can be seamlessly merged with virtual content.
The XR-4 Secure Edition’s 20-megapixel cameras deliver industry-leading clarity in passthrough, allowing even small text and avionics to be easily read.
The XR-4 Secure Edition with autofocus further enhances the mixed reality experience, driving an unprecedented 51 PPD in passthrough and introduces the world’s first XR gaze-driven autofocus camera system.
Highest-level security and support.
Unlike other headsets in the XR-4 Series, all XR-4 Secure Edition units are assembled in a state-of-the-art facility in Finland, ensuring full TAA compliancy.
Each headset runs completely offline and can be configured to have no radio components, ensuring they are suitable for exceptionally high-security situations and closed-loop network environments.
The XR-4 Secure Edition comes with access to world-class support with less than one business day support guarantees, guided onboarding sessions, priority shipping, and more.
