Magewell Ultra Encode HDMI Overview

Stream up to DCI 4K video from your HDMI source device with the Ultra Encode HDMI Plus Universal 4K Encoder from Magewell. The versatile compact device supports input resolutions up to DCI 4K60 with a 4:2:0 color space and DCI 4K30 with 4:4:4 or 4:2:2, encoded to NDI|HX2, NDI|HX3, and H.264/H.265, and live streamed via Wi-Fi or Ethernet to a wide range of IP destinations, including Facebook Live, Twitch, and YouTube.

The unit offers an HDMI input and respective loop-through output as well as two USB-A ports that enable you to add optional modems to facilitate 4G/5G streaming worldwide. Supported streaming protocols include various flavors of NDI, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, and HLS. The unit can be remotely controlled via a web browser on a computer or smartphone and powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet), and it can be mounted using the included T-bracket.
