Is there a replacement cable or model number for the USB cable? Or is only purchasable with the Magewell unit?
The USB cable that works with the Magewell USB Capture SDI 4K Plus is a standard USB 3.0 cable. We can recommend B&H#PEUSB3AMAM3 or any other desired lengths.
Is this compatible with Mac OS Big Sur11.2?
Unfortunately no. This item does support. Mac OS Big Sur11.2. Supported Operating Systems OS X 10.9 - 10.11 macOS 10.12
Will the USB port be fast enough to transmit 4k to the computer? I thought only Thunderbolt 3 could handle that.
